it happened. to me. yesterday.
i was the VIP server for Wedding Dinner at work yesterday night. to think me and my colleagues were toking bout VIP servers during the day (i worked 14 hrs yesterday). i thought my Manager was kidding with me when he wrote "VIP" next to my name. i still gave him the "yea, right" face and look. it was until cocktail when i knew he wasn't joking.
when he called for the queue of shortest to tallest, i went to the front without asking. but he told me to stand aside, for i will be the VIP. *gasp!*
people were saying that serving VIP's very easy and relaxed, but i think otherwise. probably i'm not used to it ba. my other partner serving the bridal table's SUPER FAST. i can't catch up. so can't the others. i was so slow that my manager and the storeman had to help me pick up my food and help me portion (1 course) . see? told you i wasn't cut out for VIP servers.
but my colleagues assured me that i'll do beta with more practice. yea right. who wud wanna choose a shortie like me who cant serve fast and well? >.<
but it's an historical event. my first time serving VIP. lalalala~
no disputes and conflicts (or even fights) in my current working place please. thank you.
